Lois Elaine Mayer passed at 11:11 AM on August 22, 2016 at the Kloefkorn House of Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, Wyoming. She was born in Casper, Wyoming on March 24, 1938 to parents Raymond L. "Bud" Craig Sr. (b. 1905-d. 1983) and Mary Pearl Craig (b. 1911-d. 2001). Lois attended schools in Casper, and earned her Associate degree in Great Falls, Montana. She was a tireless worker and single mother and grandmother with driving work ethic and morals she learned from her parents. She was a extraordinary young dancer who taught at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in the 1950's, and was a gifted piano player, and accomplished artist in painting and ceramics with uncanny skills, who followed her interests with a passion. Lois loved rock hunting in the wilderness and belonged to the Wyoming Gem & Mineral Society in her later years. She was raised in the Grace Lutheran Church in Casper, and later attended local Churches and had the Pentecostal experience in her August years as Christian Saint. Lois was an adopted mother to the many friends of her sons and grandson, beloved by them all, ever grateful to her for her unconditional love and kindness she lived 24/7 with people in her life. Lois Elaine Mayer is survived by her two sons, Ricky Ray of Washington DC, and Randy L. Mayer of Casper Wyoming; her grandson Justin A. Mayer of Casper Wyoming; her niece Karen Deveraux of Casper Wyoming, nephew Terry Craig of Douglas Wyoming, nephews Dwight Craig and Pat Craig Jr. of Casper Wyoming. Memorial contributions may be given to the Central Wyoming Hospice 319 S Wilson St, Casper, WY 82601 for patients care.
