Lois Hughes

Lois Hughes, age 72 , of Glendo, died September 28, 2019 at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions. Lois and her twin sister Louise were born June 23, 1947 in Lusk, Wyoming to Sam and Vera (Anderson) Leeling. Lois graduated from Niobrara County High School in 1965. On August 14, 1966, Lois married Gary Bringham. Lois and Gary had three children, daughters Amanda and Marnie, and son Cody. Lois married Harvey Hughes on December 27, 1990 in Glendo, WY where they have resided since that time. Lois received an Associates Degree from Casper College in May 1990. She worked for White's Marine Center for nearly 30 years. Lois considered the White's her family and loved them all. Lois is preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda; first husband Gary, beloved grandmother Olga Bruch, her father Sam Leeling, and mother Vera Martin, brother Jimmy Charles, twin sister Louise Walker, three step children Adam Hughes, Wendy Fluharty, and Michael Hughes. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Hughes; daughter, Marnie (Matt) Prochniak, son, Cody (Shem) Bringham, grandsons Devon and Dylan Bringham; sister, Nita (Gene) Martin, nephews Cory and Tom Martin, brother-in-law Ken Walker, niece Wendy Malawy, step-sister Renee (Brian) Hossack, step-brother Jack (Charlene) Bloem, step children Lena Mohn and Chris (Veronica) Hughes. A service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Bustard's Funeral Home in Casper, WY. Burial will be Thursday at 4pm at the Glendo Cemetery. Gathering at Glendo Community Church afterward. The family requests that contributions be made in lieu of flowers in Lois's memory to one of two groups that were important to Lois.
