Lloyd Thomas Smith

April 1, 1942 — May 24, 2024

Lloyd Thomas Smith, 82 of Casper Wyoming, passed away on May. 24th of 2024 at Shepherd of the Valley. This has been his home since 2018.

He was born in Weld County Colorado to his parents, George Smith and Pearl Lynn Smith.  He had completed 9 years of schooling, In 1961 Lloyd joined the Army National Guard. Once out of the National Guard he worked different jobs over the years. He moved to Walden and worked at the Coal Mine until it closed and then went to work for Louisiana Pacific. He later went to Greeley and worked a few years at a saw mill then transferred to Washington where he retired from the mill.  His destination was in Casper Wyoming where he passed away. He enjoyed fishing the most, building little things and going to bible study. Dad talked a lot about the Rose Garden at Shepherd of the Valley. He enjoyed being outside in the garden.   

Lloyd is survived by his daughters. Michelle Richard and Son-of-Law Jack Richard of Walden Colorado and Mary Dorrell of Craig Colorado. Two grandsons Derrick and Thomas Richard of Greeley Colorado. He is preceded in death by his sisters Bernice Hunt and Aretha Almer and his two brothers Leslie and Gene Smith. Wife Andrea Smith and his parents George and Pearl Smith.
