Lloyd Sanford Bricker, 78, of Rawlins, Wyoming, died Thursday, January 12th at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. He leaves his wife of 37 years, Wanda (Sanchez) Bricker; his son, Leslie Bricker, and his wife, Trudi, of Gillette, Wyoming; his daughter, Amy (Bricker) Brawley, and her husband, Wayne, of Gillette, Wyoming; his son, Kevin Bricker, and his wife, Jennifer, of Casper, Wyoming; his son, Bruce Bricker, of Casper, Wyoming; an adopted son, Troy Bricker; brother, Billy Florom, of Fort Collins, Colorado; sister, Rosalee Whitaker, of Los Angeles, California; 11 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 10 step great-grandchildren. Lloyd was born July 26, 1938 in Denver, Colorado to Blanche Sanford. He was raised in Gillette, Wyoming by his adoptive parents, Ernest and Wanda Bricker and graduated from high school in Gillette. He served in the United States armed forces from 1958 - 1966 in both the Navy and the Marine Corps. He was married to Naomi Anderson from 1964 until 1973, fathering four children with her. He married Wanda Sanchez in February of 1978. Lloyd was employed as a corrections officer with the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, Wyoming until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, word search puzzles, and spending time with his family. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Barbera Adams; one brother, Tommy Sanford; and his granddaughter, Crystal Bricker. Cremation will take place and no service is planned.
