On August 11, 2014, Lisa Ann Stamper passed away while residing at Central Wyoming Hospice surrounded by her family and loved ones. Lisa was treated like a queen while she was at hospice and through their care Lisa was able to finish her time with us with dignity and grace. Lisa was born in Casper, WY on December 4, 1956 to Harold James (Ted) Stamper and Sylvia Ruth Stamper. She was the apple of her father's eye and the best little sister her brothers and sisters could hope for. Lisa attended Westwood Elementary, CY Junior High and Natrona County High School. Lisa made friends with several of her classmates but her true lifelong friend was Kim Huber who was Lisa's confident and anchor through good and bad times. Lisa will always be remembered as being caring, funny, poised and thoughtful. As a young girl, Lisa was bashful, but elegant. She would amaze her relatives by her choice of clothes and accouterments she would wear to family functions and could light up a room with just her presence. When she was 4 years old she decided there were not enough flowers on her Easter bonnet so she made paper flowers to put on her bonnet so she could be even more elegant. Lisa was a free spirit during her high school years and was the best friend anyone could have. Her love for animals started at an early age and her empathy for all creatures resulted in several wonderful pets for her family. She loved to baby sit and never thought of it as a job, but as training for her future role as a mother. In May of 1977, Lisa married Randal (Randy) Wynia and they were soon blessed with a baby girl, Natasha, who quickly became the center of Lisa and Randy's universe. In 1978 tragedy struck and within a few short months she lost both her beloved husband and father. Despite this tragedy, Lisa was determined to make a better life for her daughter and herself. On June 23, 1983, Lisa married Darrel Dorman in Casper, WY. Darrel and Lisa would soon have two children of their own, Sean and Ryan, and started their journey as a family living for a few years in Denver, CO before returning to their home town of Casper. Lisa worked for the Mini Mart Corporation and Precision Measurement but her main job and focus was always that of a mother doing the best she could for her children. At this, Lisa excelled. Lisa was the driving force in helping her son Ryan fight cancer and despite being sick with cancer herself, Lisa continued to care and provide for her family until she was no longer physically able. Lisa loved music, gardening, playing with her grandkids, having spirited political discussions on Facebook, and being with her beloved dogs, Abby and Kita. Her lifelong dream of visiting Hawaii came true last December when she spent a wonderful week there with her sister, Linda. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Randy Wynia and her half brother, Jim Stamper. Lisa is survived by her partner of 32 years, Darrel Dorman, her daughter Natasha Jones (Chris), her sons, Sean and Ryan Dorman, her sisters, Linda and Sharon Proud and her brother Joe Proud, grandchildren Lucas, Dylan, Austin, Mariah, Corbin, Lillian Lisa, Braden, Ashton, great-grandson Jonny and several great friends who will all miss the joy she brought to their lives. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Bustard's. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all the people working at Central WY Hospice and Rocky MT Oncology who were so caring and helpful to Lisa in her final days. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Central Wyoming Hospice or the Casper Humane Society in Lisa's name
