Linda Uhrich

Linda Jo Uhrich was born in Colorado Springs, CO to Mildred and Edward Sutter on November 7, 1946. She attended elementary schools in Colorado Springs and Buena Vista and she graduated from High School in Lander, WY. Linda married Adam (Addie) Uhrich on April 14, 1966 and they had 3 children, Terry, Jeri and Cary. Linda and Addie made their home in Cheyenne for many years and later moved to Casper to be close to their first grandchildren. Linda was a devoted wife and mother and spent many years in the beautiful Wyoming outdoors that she loved with her family, horses and dogs. Linda loved Paint horses and she raised many a fine horse. She was a 4-H leader and was always happy watching her horses and Jeri in the show ring. It didn't matter if they won or not, she so enjoyed fitting the horses and the camaraderie. Linda spent a good many years, decades really, honing her Walleye culinary skills as Addie and her 2 boys are avid fisherman. She was a fantastic cook and could even make the gamiest antelope taste good. And what she could do with a pheasant would rival the best chefs on earth. She is a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she loved the deep friendships she made while attending both in Cheyenne and Casper. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and father-in-law. She is survived by her husband, Addie, her children and their spouses, Terry and Lisa, Jeri and Roob, Cary and Roxanne, and Dorothy, her treasured mother-in-law. She is the very proud grandmother to Adam, his wife Lexi and their little boy Landon, Tyler, Ethan, Hadley Jo and Isaac. Sisters Donna Hudson, Vicki Fannin and her partner Jim Lee, brother Steven Sutter and his wife Sharon and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. And last but certainly not least, her beloved dogs, Frannie and Cody. Families Are Forever Funeral services for Linda will be held at 11:00am, on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center in Casper, WY with Bishop Bruce Gallup officiating. Visitation will also be held at the church on Saturday at 10:00am. Interment will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Mountain View Memorial Park in Cheyenne at 1:00pm.
