Linda Morrison

On Saturday July 7, 2018 heaven gained an angel in Linda Morrison. She lost her battle with Breast Cancer. At the age of 73 she passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was born in Long Beach CA and raised in Casper, WY. She attended schools locally and graduated from Natrona County High School. She moved to Denver CO and attended Trade School. Shortly after moving back to Long Beach CA, where she worked for GE Financial. She met the love of her life of 52 years, Donald Morrison. They were married Feb. 12, 1966 at the Chapel By the Sea. Both of her sons (Brian and Brad) were born in Long Beach. After moving back to Wyoming to be closer to her family they had 3 more children including a set of twins (Christine, Cheri and Lori). Linda was a stay at home mom for most of her children's years in school, working part time at Meadow Acres Green House. She was always the room mother for every party. You could count on her to dress up every Halloween and make treats for every event. She was very involved in 4-H with all 5 of her kids. Helping as a leader for almost 20 years. As her children got older she decided to go back to work. She worked at Target for 21 years. This is where she met some of her closest friends. Linda was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She always found the positive in everything. She never gave up hope in anything she did. Her home was open to everyone. If you were alone for a holiday you were always welcome at the Morrison's. Linda was preceded in death by Her mother (Evelyn Friesen), father (Thomas Friesen), father in-law (Owen Morrison), Grandson Michael Dolentas, Brothers in law (Henry Morrison, Ron Dudley, Larry Stoeger, and Leland Morrison) and nephews Michael Mills, Justin Stoeger and Dennis (Boomer) Stoeger. She is survived by her husband Donald Morrison of Evansville, Mother in Law Roma Morrison, Sons Brian (Robin) Morrison of Evansville, Brad (Kimberly) Morrison of Casper, Daughters Christine (Les) Squires of Evansville, Cheri (Tom) Neibauer of Casper and Lori (Rob) Neibauer of Evansville. 12 Grandkids Michelle Dolentas, Braydon and Mikayla Morrison, Dillan Hansen, Alyssa (Drew) Branscom, Madisyn, Delaini, and Caleb neibauer, Alexis Rohrer, Mariah, Breanna, and Shaelyn Brown. Brothers Jim (Audrey) Friesen, Rick (Jolene) Friesen, and Wally Friesen. Sisters Bonnie Dudley and Carol Stoeger. Brother in Law Dale (Shirley) Morrison, Sisters in law Rita (Bert Hornbeck), Mona Gale (Dan) Mills and many, many nieces and nephews. Join us in loving memory on Saturday July 28th, 2018 at her family home for a Celebration of life from 10-5. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to an account set up in Donald Morrison's name at Wyo Central Federal Credit Union to help with medical and funeral expences.
