Linda Allen

On august 1,1948 walter and gloria smith gave birth to a precocious baby girl , Linda Mary Smith in Delaware County Pennsylvania. They eventually relocated to Rawlins, Wyoming where they resided until Lindas preteens. Dad decided the family should head for California where they settled down in Anaheim. Linda attended Santiago High school in Garden Grove where she graduated top of her class. As a young adult Linda attended Irvine Community College and was actually one of the first women to receive full scholarship to U.C Irvine for Mathematics. After pursuing many endeavors she met Michael Allen and they were married Sept 9,1979 to this union 5 children were born. She resided in Long Beach California and worked as a general manager at Pick Your Part Auto Wrecking Co. for 20 years. Linda was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and an active and loyal member of Christ Second Baptist Church, where she was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost under the guidance and leadership of Pastor Gore. Once she said goodbye to the corporate world she dedicated herself to pursue her passion of creativity and went on to have several successful businesses making earrings, hats, scarves, dresses, any and everything imaginable that she could create. Always confident and determined she loved Jesus, her family and her crafts. In her more recent years upon having an empty nest she moved back to her home of Casper, WY to be close to her siblings where she lived and made many new friends and impacted so many lives in such a short time. She attended Word Christian Fellowship Church, and she loved her Pastor and her prayer group. We celebrate her time with us as God has called her to her permanent home with the Lord. We will surely miss her cheerful, loving giving spirit spirit and her warm presence . She was preceded in death by her father Walter D. Smith ,her mother Gloria D Smith ,a brother William Smith. She leaves to cherish a loving husband Michael Carter Allen, brothers Walter M.Smith, Brian D.Smith, Blake S. Smith and loving little baby sister Donna L. Martensen. Children Nyree D. Allen , Mia C. Allen, Treana L. Allen, Michael C. Allen II, and Samantha I. Underwood, 7 grandchildren , 9 nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and relatives. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Word Christian Fellowship in Casper with Pastor Dan Carlin officiating.
