Linda L. Gable, 77, of Casper, WY, passed away on Aug. 10 at Banner Wyoming Medical Center.
She was born in Wadsworth, OH, to Ralph Castle and Freda Cehrs on Sept. 13, 1946. She went to Cloverleaf High School and graduated from Wadsworth High School. She worked multiple jobs that included fast food, retail, and owned her own gift shop in Ohio. She also taught fourth grade at Paradise Valley Christian School, provided childcare throughout the years, but flower arranging/designing was her passion.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, George of Casper. She is also survived by her children, Lisa of Casper, Steve (Angie) of Clay City, KY, and Jeremy (Emily) also of Casper. She was Memaw to her grandchildren, the light of her life: Matthew, Isaac (Kristin), of Clay City, KY, Zac, Xander, Cory, and Sophie all of Casper, and Aurora of Clinton, IA. She also adored her great granddaughter, Athena of Clay City, KY. She is also survived by her sisters, Cathy (Bill) Steele, Carolyn Decker, and Judy Decker all of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Sarah Decker.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses who cared for her at Banner Wyoming Medical Center, and Wyoming Family Practice.
The family will have a private celebration of life at a later time.
