Tribute to Linda Sue Chapman

Life is like a cloud in the sky.

It is there for a moment and then it’s gone.

Life is impossible to figure out.

The confusion can lead to doubt.

It is not hard to tell good from bad

Or to base your feelings on what you’ve had.

No one would have trouble seeing

Linda gave every ounce of her being.

Everyone was devoured by her smile.

It would stretch more than a mile.

We can’t count how many she lent a helping hand

When they themselves were struggling hard to solidly stand.

From her loving heart she gave all she could afford

To show her love for family, friends, and the Lord.

This was her temporary home

But no longer does she roam.

Sometimes all the pieces are hard to fit

Because Linda was only here for a short bit.

Out of the darkness into the light

Linda just boarded her Heavenly Flight.

Memorial donations may be made to the family on Venmo @Ariel-Chapman-7.

Donations will be used for the headstone purchase.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Sunrise Baptist Church. Pastor Craig Waters will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
