Lily Grace Butler, 7, of Casper, Wyoming, gained her wings on March 21st, 2024 at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Lily was born in Casper, Wyoming to Britney and Devin Butler on September 27th, 2016. She attended CDC and CDC+ for outpatient therapy weekly, as well as attend preschool there. She then started kindergarten at Pineview Elementary, where she met a great number of friends, both fellow kids, teachers, and healthcare staff.
Lily was a tremendous light and everything she shone on was something she could consume and incorporate into herself. She had so many different interests. You could call her a girly girl because she liked dresses and princesses and dolls, but she would just as soon go camping, jump in mud puddles, make baking soda and vinegar volcanoes, and launch model rockets.
She is survived by her parents, her Dixie Dog, her GrandBob and Gammy, and many, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Chandler, her grandpa Dean and grandma Liz, and her Uncle Dustin.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Fri. Mar. 29, 2024 at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Bustard and Jacoby Funeral Home at 600 CY Ave. in Casper at 10am, with a burial afterwards at Highland Park Cemetery. A celebration of Lily's life is to follow at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 1922 S. Poplar St at noon. There will be face painting, a slime station, a jewelry making station, games, and candy.
