Lillian Thomas

Memorial services for Mrs. Lillian M. Thomas, 80, will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Mrs. Thomas passed away December 22, 2011 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. She was born May 5, 1931 in Wheatland, Wyoming. Lillian worked several years at the Higgins Hotel in Glenrock. While in Glenrock she also worked as a school crossing guard and volunteered at Glenrock Elementary School before moving back to Casper in June of 2009. She is survived by her children, Richard Kirk (Betty) of Edgewood, Maryland, daughter-in-law, Connie Kirk of Kenton, Ohio, Michael R. Burke, Kathleen Britton (Jeff) in California, Robert Burke, Susan Kilkenny (David) of Vancouver, Washington, and Shannon Zimmerle (Tammy) of Glenrock. Also surviving are her siblings, Viola Reynolds of Casper, Betty Brown (Jerry) of Casper, Georgia Shroyer (Kedrick) of Casper, Clara Russell (Keith) of Greensboro, NC, Darlene Russell (James) of Bogue, NC, Frank Dana (Sharon) of Missoula, MT plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George H. and Meda Dana, husband, Virgil Thomas and her son, William (Bill) Kirk.
