Lester Eckhart

Lester Lewis Eckhart, 53, passed away at the Wyoming Medical Center after a long illness. Lester lived a majority of his life in Casper attending Lincoln and Roosevelt Elementary in North Casper, Dean Morgan Junior High and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1980. Lester worked as a laborer most of his life. He love fishing, hunting, football and spending time with his friends. Lester was preceded in death by his sister Vicki and his father Floyd. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Shirley and Henry Carsten of Shawnee, Oklahoma; two adult sons, Jacob Floyd and Gabriel Lewis; sister Doris (Richard) Glasgow; brother Mickey (Lee) Eckhart, his loving sweetheart of 13 years Judy Sledge and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A memorial services to celebrate Lester's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 29, 2016 at Bustard's Funeral Home with Pastor John Herman (long time friend) officiating. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to Meals on Wheels.
