Leslie Russell Nemitz entered this life on March 23, 1940 on a farm between Lucan and Vesta, Minnesota. He was born to Charles and Anna (Lemke) Nemitz. He left it just before midnight on September 27, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. He was not supposed to live through his first day on Earth, he made it 77 years. "A good character is the best tombstone. Spurgeon This was our Dad, Grandfather, brother, son, and uncle. He was an extremely generous man, and we will miss him greatly. He is survived by his children, Jack (Anita), Ft. Collins, CO, Dennis (Lynnette), Billings, MT, Ronna Nemitz (Ronnie) ,Phoenix, AZ, Tony, Portland, OR, Nicole Arner (Alan), Casper, WY; grandchildren, Joey, Jacob, Marissa, Keriann, Sammy, Nicolas, and Kyleigh; siblings, Fred, Buddy, Joan, and Carla; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis; and sisters, Lois and Alice. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, Rev. Jon C. Olson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Les' name may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 S.
