Leslie Earl Halsey, age 56, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2016. He was born in Kingman, Arizona on April 9, 1960 to Donald J. and Jacqulina O'Dell Halsey. He graduated from Barstow High School in Barstow, California. Les was a naturally gifted musician and played several instruments. He loved to be outdoors, biking, fishing, or playing disc golf. He loved motorcycle and stock car racing and extreme sports. He is survived by daughters, Kayla Halsey of Hesperia, California, Shayna Halsey of Palmdale, California, and Sarah McDaniel of Lincoln, California; sons, Ryan Halsey of Lancaster, California, and Jeremy Lee Wessel of Oceanside, California; father, Don Halsey of Barstow, California; stepmother, Jody Halsey of Barstow, California; and sister, Bridget Halsey of Barstow, California. Les also leaves behind many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqulina Halsey, of Barstow, California. A celebration of Les' life will be held at the VFW at 1800 Bryan Stock Trail on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 7:00PM. Memorial contributions in Les' name may be made to his family.
