Leona Johnston

Leona LEE Johnston , a Loving and Caring Mother and Grandmother, passed away at the age of 59 in her Casper, WY home of natural causes on October 11 , 2012. She would have celebrated her 60th Birthday on November 7th. Leona was born to Clinton Rose Ethel Robertson and Calvin Eugene Robertson , on November 7th,1952 , in Tulsa, Okalahoma. She was raised with two older siblings Lonna and Larry. During her teen years she married Terry Johnston and resided in Montana until 1987. They share two daughters, Naomi and Jennifer. After the divorce , she moved to Denver, Colorado. During her seven years in Colorado she had her third daughter, Courtney. She worked at the Flying J Travel Plaza Country Market, in Aurora, and transferred as an Assistant Manager to the Casper location in 2004. She transferred to a cashier on the fuel desk. Lee very much enjoyed her days at the Flying J, and spread her joy to travelers and employees. Her co-workers and regulars were her 2nd Family. She was a hard worker and took pride in her job. She always wore a smile even when a cuss word would have fit. Leona enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors. Her Grandchildren, Zachary, Madison, Angel and Austin were the highlight of her life. She enjoyed having them over to spoil and love them and made sure she always had hugs and kisses and candy!! Our Mom lived a simple life, and never asked for much, she will be missed everyday, by the people she loved and touched during her lifetime. Leona is survived by her three daughters Naomi Johnston, Jennifer Johnston, and Courtney Flannery, along with her grandchildren Zachary, Angel, Madison and Austin. A gathering of remembrance will be held on November 10, 2012 @ 11am in the Oak Room at Poor Boy's Restaurant in Casper, WY. Cremation has taken place.
