Lee Southards

September 3, 1963 — February 17, 2015

LeeAnne Southards, 51, of Bar Nunn, Wyoming, died February 17, 2015 at the Wyoming Medical Center in the company of family and friends. LeeAnne was born September 3, 1963 in Laramie and graduated from Laramie High in 1981. She loved animals, both domestic and wild. From nurturing her family and friends many cats and dogs, to raising feral species of wildlife in early adulthood, to naming rabbits and birds that hung around her Bar Nunn home. She loved to photograph them all. As a league and event coordinator for Wyoming Amusement for many years she cultivated many friendships. She was especially proud of her ability to help the Wyoming State Dart and Pool tournaments to occur and thrive without too many hitches. LeeAnne?s favorite event of each year was, by far, the family reunion in the mountains near Laramie. Camp was easily identified by the port-o-potty in the horse trailer. She loved to visit, catch up, and reminisce with family, young and old. LeeAnne is survived by her beloved partner Bob (B.J.) Jones of Bar Nunn; sister Cathy Flint of Laramie; brother Jim (Kellie) Southards of Laramie; sister Laura (Ralph) Abell of Laramie; Uncle Jack Southards of Walden, CO; uncle Joe (Kathy) Southards of Laramie; uncle Glenn (Peggy) Southards of Quartsite, AZ; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. She was preceded in death by Parents Jim and Nancy Southards; maternal grandparents Leroy and Mabelle Wiggett; paternal grandparents Roy and Beulah Southards. LeeAnne was a proud organ donor. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be performed at a later date. Memorial services for LeeAnne Southards, 51, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Bustard?s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.
