Lawrence Zajc

Lawrence J Zajc, 73, passed away on June 3, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, June 23, 2016 at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Time will be announced shortly. He was born August 10, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. After high school he joined the Navy (1961-1964) where he learned his trade as a pattern maker. In 1965, he married the love of his life Trudy M. Oden in Old San Gabriel Mission, CA. They had a son Adam M. Zajc and granddaughter Cierra J. Zajc, that was the apple of his eye. Trudy and Lawrence celebrated their 50th anniversary, July 17, 2015. Larry owned his own business for 18 years in California then moved to Casper in 1991 and worked for ExCal in the foundry as a pattern maker until he retired. They have lived in Casper 25 years. Lawrence loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and woodworking. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph J. Zajc and mother, Genevieve B. Zajc. Larry is survived by his wife Trudy M. Zajc, son, Adam M. Zajc, granddaughter Cierra J. Zajc, sister, Phyllis Kerne, and niece, Kim Kerne. He will be missed dearly. Forever in our hearts.
