Lavada Lassiter

Lavada Ruth Lassiter, 56, passed away on February 24, 2018 in Casper, Wyoming. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Lavada was born on October 2, 1961 in Miami, Oklahoma to Johnny BurleBlalack and Lavada May Newton-Robinson. She married Joseph Lassiter in 1977 in Basin, Wyoming. They had a daughter Jennifer Lowe. Lavada enjoyed sewing, horseback riding, boating, quilting and four wheeling. She is survived by her mother, Lavada Robinson of Billings, Montana; brothers, Darrell Blalack (Denise) of Greensboro, North Carolina, Johnny Blalack of South Dakota, Leon Blalack of Oklahoma, and Jimmy Blalack of Grove, Oklahoma; sister, Kimberley Pohlman of Billings, Montana; daughter, Jennifer Lowe (David); grandsons, Justus and Taylon Lowe of Casper; niece, Laci Pohlman of Billings, Montana; and nephews, Christopher Taylor of Idaho and Kai Pohlman of Billings, Montana. Lavada is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lassiter of Sheridan, Wyoming and her father, JohnnyBurle Blalack of Oklahoma.
