Lavada Armstrong

Lavada (Vada) Ruth Armstrong age 79 passed away May 5th 2017 at Wyoming Medical Center surrounded by her family. Lavada was born March 29th 1938 in Hopkins, MO. to the late Fred and Letah White. She grew up in Douglas, Wy. and met Lelan Armstrong to whom she married June 26th 1956. They were married 18 years and had 3 children. She worked in bakery's at Albertson and Safeway and later was self employed running Vada's cleaning services. She was a mom to many neighborhood children, an avid bowler for many years and loved to dance. Her true love though was her family and her faithful dog (Misty Dawn) whom she spoiled with coffee and toaster strudels every morning. She is survived by her children John(Sandy) of Casper, Craig (Jackie) of Bakerfield CA, Judy (Larry) Jansen of Casper. 5 grandchildren Jason (Katie) , David (Jenny), Steven (Stephanie) Armstrong all of Casper , Danny, Krissy Armstrong of Bakerfield. 12 3/4 great grandchildren (Kade, Jonas, Ashton, Landon, Landri, Elijah, Aidan, Hadley, Bentley and baby Armstrong, Chance, Broden Mathes. Amaya Goehring. Brother Dick (Dawn) White of Hurricane Utah. Faithful family members Donna(Paul) Lenski Casper and Lelan ( wife in law Shirley). Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held May 10th 11:00 a.m. at Faith Bible Chapel 500 North Forest Drive.
