Lance Wellborn

Robert "Lance" Wellborn, remarkable man of 49 years, left us November 20, 2017. Celebration of Life service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the River of Life Church located off 2nd Street next to Hobby Lobby. Lance was born in Casper the third son to Robert and JoReva Wellborn. He was husband of 18 years to Amber Dawn and father to Trevor and Tristen Wellborn and his faithful dog Dakota. He was the youngest brother of Kris and Eric and Uncle to Aspen and Mason. Memorable for his compassion, integrity, humor and love of his fellow man he would never let an individual go hungry or cold. Lance attended NCHS and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. His greatest passions were his sons, mountains, cooking, and people. Lance was always up to mischief like when he released 50 toads at a wedding reception setting off pandemonium. A prankster, who also loved to share his faith in his Savior Jesus. He seasoned our life - a link with our past and a reason for our tomorrow.
