Lana K. Smith, 61, of Casper, went to meet her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 after battling lengthy illness. Lana was born in Beatrice, Nebraska to Floyd and Euverda (Krause) Plucknett on February 28, 1952. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1970 and Wyoming Beauty School in 1971. She married Clifford J. Washut and into this union was born a son CJ and daughter Amy. Clifford passed away in 1985 following an oil field accident. She later married Irvin Clark whom she lost to cancer. On September 4, 2009 she married Jeff Smith who was a loving and devoted husband. Lana was an active member of Mountain View Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, shopping, and spending time with family. She loved to view the mountain ranges of Wyoming and wildlife. She had a love for all animals and enjoyed her pets. Lana was preceded in death by her husband's Clifford J. Washut and Irvin Clark, her father Floyd Plucknett, brother Lon Plucknett and all maternal and paternal grandparents. Lana is survived by her Husband, Jeff Smith; Children CJ and Amy; Mother, Euverda Plucknett and sisters, Ann Ronshaugen and Becky Spawn all of Casper. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lacey and Lane as well as many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Mountain View Baptist Church on Saturday April 20th, at 11:00 AM with a viewing on Friday April 19th from 3PM to 6PM at Bustard's Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Green River Cemetery in Green River, Wyoming on April 24th at noon. Memorials can be sent to the American Heart Association or Mountain View Baptist Church.
