L. Bustard

Mass of Christian Burial for Jean Bustard, 74, will be concelebrated at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 28, 2013 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church by Fr. Lucas Simango. A visitation will be held from noon until 7:00 PM at Bustard's Funeral Home on Sunday, January 27, 2013. A Rosary will be recited following the visitation. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery. Jean passed away very unexpectedly on January 22, 2013. She was born on January 27, 1938 to Ralph and Loretta Zottman. In 1957 she married the love of her life, Tom Bustard. They moved to San Francisco so that Tom could attend mortuary school. In 1965 they moved back to Casper and took over the family business. Jean helped Bill with the business until his passing in 2007 and was very instrumental in helping her daughter, Kathy learned the funeral home business so she can carry on the family legacy of helping other families of Casper, with the help of Jean's grandchildren Christina and Aaron and son in law Tony. She really enjoyed fishing and camping in the Tetons. She loved to crochet gifts for family and friends. Jean always enjoyed an adventure. She loved to go for a ride to anywhere and look for areas we had never explored before. She had quite the imagination as well. She liked to look at the clouds, rocks, shadows, even dog treats to see what kind of image it might reflect. She always looked forward to going to Seattle to feed the seagulls and relax at her brother's cabin on Heron Island. Jean is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Tony) Bowman and Terri (David) Dalrymple; four grandchildren, Christina Quinn, Aaron Bowman, Bailey Atterberry and Brandon Atterberry; and three great-grandchildren, Bayleigh Quinn, Landon Bowman and Aryanna Atterberry, brothers, Richard (Sue), Bill (Melanie), both of Seattle, WA, her sister-in-law, Pat (Zeke) Leger' of Reno, Nevada, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom and her son, Bill. The family would appreciate any donations be made to help benefit local children or animals.
