Kennard Heron

Kennard Keith "Ken" Heron, born June 17th 1945 in Thermopolis Wyoming, to Bertha and Edward Heron. He lived in Thermopolis until he was 17, then moved to Jackson hole. There to work he married his first wife Faye Robertson, having their children Kelly and Rob. They then moved to Jeffery City where he worked at Western Nuclear Mine as an electrician. They later divorced and in 1976, he married Rosemary Kaper and was blessed with another daughter Nicole. Shortly after came his last child Brandi. He was always known to jump at the chance to help anyone in need. He was always there whenever he was asked. He worked as a journeyman lineman in Glenrock, retiring after 45 years. He and Rosemary were able to travel throughout the country, including Alaska for his impressive fishing expedition. He always enjoyed woodworking, making gifts and furniture for his friends and family. He was an avid biker, fisherman, and loved hiking trips with his family including special trips with his son Rob. He was the biggest man anyone could ever have the pleasure of knowing, in his presence and his kindness. The people who had the pleasure of knowing Kennard, would all agree that he was the most admirable husband, father, brother and grandfather. His kindness, knowledge, generosity, and overall superlative nature was unparalleled. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Bertha McCoubrey, his father, Edward Heron, and his niece Jennifer Sebesta. He's survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Rosemary Heron, son; Robert Heron, daughters; Brandi Heron, Kelly Thomas, and Nicole Dimick, his grandchildren; Keith Dimick, Kylee Dimick, Stevie Randell, Chancey Randell, Mick Heron, Nathan Heron, Skyler Miles, and his great grandchildren; Larz Dimick, Kaidyn Dimick, and Ramona Dimick. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Bustard's Funeral Home in Casper. Interment will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lander, Wyoming.
