Karen Lee Woods

Karen Lee Woods, 77 of Casper, WY passed away on January 22^nd 2023 in Casper, WY. Karen was born in San Diego, CA to Ruth Esther Owens and Orbie Lee Roberts on March 14^th 1945. Karen worked for many years at the Sky King Restaurant and eventually owned her own supper club west of Casper. She and her beloved husband owned and operated KJ Woods trucking for 16 years. Karen married John E Woods SR on July, 15^th 1966 in Las Vegas, NV.  The family moved to Casper, WY in 1975. Karen enjoyed being outdoors working in her yard, growing roses and was an avid rock collector. Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Karen is survived by her husband of 56 years John E Woods SR, five sons Billy Wood, Dean Wood, Terry Wood, John Woods JR, and Tj Woods. Three siblings, Kathie Coleman, Killroy Roberts, Kandi Roberts. As well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Esther Owens. Father, Orbie Lee Roberts. Brother, Lee Roberts. Services for Karen are to be held at a later date. Karen was loved deeply by her family and will be missed by many.
