Memorial services for Casper resident Karen A. Huss, 75, will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at College Heights Baptist Church by Pastor Mike Cooper. Cremation has taken place. Grandma Huss passed away May 15, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 23, 1935 in Fargo, North Dakota to John Hume Lee and Thelma Tobiason Lee. She met Robert L. Huss in Mesa, AZ and they were married in Winterhaven, CA in 1963. They raised seven children together and moved the family to Casper in 1967. Karen was a housewife and owned and operated Karen's Krafts. She loved to make crafts with her husband and make gifts for her children and grandchildren. She also was a gardener with a very green thumb and spent many hours canning her harvest and making countless jars of jelly. She enjoyed trips to Alcova Lake and Grey Reef to go fishing. Survivors include James Huss and wife Kim, Nancy Roumell and husband Mike, Richard Verow and wife Ellen, Steven Huss and wife Bobbi, Jill Miller and husband Harry, all of Casper, Joseph Verow and wife Gale of Gilbert, AZ; 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; niece and special lunch buddy, Alelia Layton, and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents, an older brother and a daughter, Mary. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 So.
