Kaitlin Welsh-Downing

Kaitlin Jessica Welsh-Downing, died suddenly, on June 2, 2015 at the age of 22. Born in Casper, WY on December 27, 1992 to Lance and Diane Downing. Kaitlin had a beautiful spirit and connected with everyone she met. Children were especially drawn to her and she showed her love generously to the three children she was caring for at the time of her death. She loved spending time with her family, the outdoors, and her dog Sunshine. She had sparkling blue eyes and a smile that could light up a room. Kaitlin was a radiant, sensitive soul and will be forever missed. Kaitlin was employed by WMC and loved her job on the transport team and had hopes of moving on to the radiology program. Kaitlin is survived by her parents, Lance and Diane Downing, siblings John Welsh and Micah Paige Downing and grandmother Julie Scrivner. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather William Downing and her maternal grandmother Delores Wright. A viewing will be held at Bustard's Funeral Home in the back chapel on Sunday June 7, 2015 from 12:00-5:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Faith Bible Chapel, 504 N Forest Dr. on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM, reception to follow. Pastor Dale Fitzsimmons will be officiating. Donation can be made in Kaitlin's name to Mercer House / Natrona County Suicide Prevention Task Force, 535 W. Yellowstone Hwy, Casper, WY 82601.
