June Aley

Pauline "June" Aley, 87, of Casper, WY, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2014 in Casper, WY. June was born June 1, 1927 in Kismet, KS to Edward Kiley and Pauline Belan. June earned her Associates degree and went on to become the office manager of the Wyoming Wool Growers Association. June married Tilghman Aley and together they raised two daughters. June and her husband, Tilghman Aley moved to Casper in 1961 when Tim became President of Casper College. After his death in 1983, June continued to support the Casper College. She loved attending basketball games and rarely missed a theater production. She was especially proud of the Aley Fine Arts Center. June shared her husband's belief in the importance of education. Through donations to the Tilghman H. Aley scholarship fund they were able to give numerous students financial aid to get an education at Casper College. June was a member of P.E.O., Casper College Theatre Board and a volunteer at the Nicolaysen Museum. June is survived by her two daughters; Tammara Aley Smith and her husband Robin of Crested Butte, CO and Jennifer Aley Kenney and her husband Dr. Jeff Kenney of Newport News, VA. A private family service will be held in her native Kansas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tilghman H. Aley Scholarship Fund c/o Casper College Foundation.
