Joseph Wesley Bertagnole

Joseph was born in Prescott, Arizona on June 3,1938 to Martin and Sophronia Bertagnole. He grew up in Casper Wyoming, with three brothers and two sisters in the family home on
Durbin Street. He was good student in school and a Proud Mustang when he graduated from Casper High School (NCHS) in 1956. Following high school he began working with
his father in the oilfield. From 1958-1960 he served a mission in England for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved being in England and spreading the gospel. He
was active and very involved in the Mormon Church. After his Mission, and began serving in the Army National Guard. His base was Fort Ord in Monterey, California. he loved to
speed through the wide open spaces in his 57 T-Bird, to his training at Fort Ord. It was at Fort Ord that he met the Love of his Life, Darnell Williams, and they were wed
on June 29, 1962. They stayed in Casper and were blessed with ten children whom they raised in Casper. He continued to work in the oilfield until he retired.
He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and great grandfather. His family is his Legacy. He will be missed dearly by his wife,children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
Joseph was survived by Darnell his wife of fifty-seven years, His ten children and their spouses: Shannon (Ed) Talbott, Kim(Jack) Jameson, Michael Bertagnole, Wesley (Annette) Bertagnole, Kari (Will) Snell, Joe Bertagnole, Adam (Amber) Bertagnole, Krista (Darren) Darnell, Emily (Aaron) Walters, Matthew (Jessica) Bertagnole,
He is also survived by 53 grandchildren and 27 great-grand children, his brothers Leland and Richard Bertgnole, and sisters Louise Andrew and Roseann Balden.
He will be buried in Highland Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to the care of Bustard & Jacoby, Funerals, Cremations, Monuments and Receptions, 600 CY Avenue, Casper, WY, 82601.
