Jolene Rissler, 81, born in Springfield, Colorado, on February 8, 1935, the oldest of 7 children born to Thelma Bernice (Johnson) and Donald Dell Hack passed away on September 17, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. When she was a young child the family moved to Victor, Colorado. She told many stories about the adventures and misadventures of growing up in a gold mining camp. In 1948, she moved with her family to Casper, Wyoming. She made Wyoming her home for 68 years. In 1952, Jolene and Harry J. Rissler were married. She was a devoted wife and mother and raised four children, Debbie, Mike, Don and Cheryl and one grandchild Angela. She was very creative and loved to paint, sew, and make jewelry. She was gifted artist, fashion designer and home decorator. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a friend to everybody. Jolene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Terry Gossman, her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Eileen Rissler, her daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Mickey Caster, her daughter-in-law Rebecca Hatcher, her brother and sister-in-law Lonnie and Valetta Hack, her brother and sister-in-law Ricky Dean and Carolyn Hack, and her sister Donna Matillas. She has 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren that were the joy of her life. Waiting for her at the gates of heaven were her son Donald J. Rissler, her great-granddaughter Kira Lynette Reddick, her parents, her brothers Clyde and Leroy, and her sister Ramona. Jolene will be remembered at a service at Bustards Funeral Home On Wednesday, September 21, at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be held from noon to 3:00 also on Wednesday.
