John Vick

At his request, there will be no funeral services for John (Jack) Vick who passed away January 27, 2011. Jack was born August 11, 1943 in Wheatland, Wyoming to John and Gwendolyn Vick. The family later moved to Casper where he attended Garfield and McKinley schools. He graduated from NCHS in 1961. After several miscellaneous jobs, he joined the Casper Fire Department in 1966. He was later drafted in the Army for two years. After leaving the Army, he returned to the Fire Department and retired as Captain in 1996 after 30 years service. He is survived by his wife, Judy, two stepsons, Don Simmons of Williston, North Dakota and Jeff Rosenbaum of Rawlins, a sister-in-law Rita Vick of Casper. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phil and a year old daughter, Pamela Jo. Cremation has taken place.
