John George Trejo, was born in Rawlins, Wyoming on February 23, 1926 to John B. Trejo and Jenera P. Trejo. He went to be with the Lord on Saturday Oct.10 2015, he was 89 years old. He grew up in Rawlins during the depression with his six siblings. He attended Rawlins schools graduating from high school in 1946. World War ll was still on and so he joined the Army Air Corp. He joined 4 of his other brothers serving his country at the same time. After his honorable discharge from the service he enrolled in college at the University of Wyoming. He attended for two years before transferring to Denver University .He studied law but decided he liked history more so decided to become a history teacher. After graduating he got his first teaching job in Sundance WY. He did not like the Wyoming winters so he decided to go to Ca. He started teaching history in Hollywood Ca. where he met a red haired Irish girl from New Hampshire named Edna O'shaunessy, who was a distant cousin of President Kennedy, they got married and had 45 wonderful years together until she passed away in 2003. After she passed he decided to move back to Wyoming to be near family. He enjoyed his time here traveling and fishing and jus enjoying his Wyoming family and friends. He is survived by his sister Isabel Reschke from Rawlins ,his sister-in-law Flora Trejo from Casper ,his nieces Maxine Stevens from Casper, Christine Ventling from Co. and Julie Lawrence from Casper and their husbands David, Steve and Fred. He also had many more nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. John was a special caring gentle man who whose loving spirit will sorely missed by all who knew him.
