Jimmy Russell Hintz, 86, passed away on August 31, 2017 in Glenrock, Wyoming. He was born on March 20, 1931 in Douglas, Wyoming. On September 15, 1956 he married Georgann Hubbell in Douglas, Wyoming and together they had two children, daughter, Kim and son, James. Jimmy worked at Glenrock Coal as a truck driver. During the Korean War he was 1 out of 17 to survive the battle of Chosin Reservoir. Jimmy was a golden glove boxer and became a boxing instructor for many years in the Glenrock and Douglas areas. He is survived by is daughter, Kim SaLee (Wyatt) Crotta of Hico, Texas; granddaughter, Jill SaLee Crotta of Hico, Texas; granddaughter, Kristen Elizabeth Daniel of Ocala, Florida; granddaughter, Nicole Mary Yost of Rices Landing, Pennsylvania. James is preceded in death by his wife, Georgann Hubbell of Glenrock, and son, James Hintz of Douglas, Wyoming. A graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Glenrock Cemetery in Glenrock, Wyoming with Pastor Les Potter officiating. Military honors accorded by the Wyoming Army National Guard and the Glenrock American Legion.
