Jim Bailey

Long time Casper resident, Jim M. Bailey, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 31, 2012. He was 98 years old. Mr. Bailey came to Wyoming in 1915, when his family homesteaded in northeast Wyoming. He later took over the family business, Bailey School Supply. Mr. Bailey was active in ranching and activities with church and family. He was a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels for many years, and was active with the Audubon Learning Center at Garden Creek. He is survived by his wife, Audrey, children, Judy Scully (Marlan), Walt Bailey (Connie), James Bailey (Barbara) and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia. Services for Mr. Bailey will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Bustard's Funeral Home with Pastor Helen Schindler of Bethel Baptist Church officiating. The family will have a private interment afterwards at Highland Cemetery.
