Jerry Selby

Jerry Selby, 66, passed away on January 7, 2013 at Wyoming Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Selby was born in Casper on January 27, 1946 to Rueben and Mildred (Gray) Selby where he was raised and educated, graduating in 1964 from Natrona County High School. He served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967. Mr. Selby was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, first wife (Beverly), 1 half- brother, 2 half- sisters, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include his wife, Gail, daughter, Michelle (Dave) Osborn, son Scott (Megan) Selby, 1 stepson, Brad (Tracy) Makinen, 2 stepdaughters, Jolene (Darren) Byrne and Julie Makinen, 4 grandsons, 5 granddaughters and 1 great-grandson. Other survivors include 2 sisters Daisy Corner and Francis Hiede; 6 brothers, Lawrence (Shirley), Joe (Sandy), Bob (Edith), Leonard (Lys), Dale, Frank (Terry) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 11, 2013 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Jim Gunderson will officiate. Military rites accorded by the Natrona County United Veterans Council and the Wyoming National Guard. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be sent for the family in care of Bustard's Funeral Home.
