Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Alexander Fernandez, 45, of Casper, WY will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center with Bishop Todd Hansen officiating. Jerry was born February 23, 1970 to Vidal Fernandez, Sr. and Darlene Sophia Fernandez in Dumas, TX. He was one of six children. Jerry came to Casper where he worked in construction and met and married Patricia Avila. Together they raised four children. Aside from spending time with his family including his beloved grandchildren, Jerry loved to work on his cars, and camping. Jerry is survived by his Sons; Jerry Jr. and Andrew, Daughters; Damitta and Breanna Fernandez all of Casper, his Father; Vidal Fernandez Sr. of Casper, WY, Brothers; Vidal Jr, Eddie and Freddie Fernandez, sisters; Diana Patraca, and Angela Fernandez, and the mother of his children Patricia Avila of Denver, CO. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Fernandez was preceded in death by his mother Darlene Sophia Fernandez, paternal grandparents; Alejandro and Angelita Fernandez, maternal grandparents; Max and Ramona Costalez.
