  Casper, Wyoming - Jeremy "Bear" Johnsen, a hardworking and talented individual, passed away on November 7, 2023. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Jeremy will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

  Born on January 30, 1976, in Casper, Wyoming, Jeremy grew up surrounded by the beauty of his hometown. He attended Kelly Walsh High School and graduated with the class of 1995. Throughout his life, Jeremy was known for his determination and independent spirit. Although he cherished his privacy, those who were close to him knew him to have a big heart and be a loyal protector of his loved ones.

  Over the years, Jeremy pursued various careers that allowed him to showcase his skills and talents. He excelled as a cook, leaving an indelible mark on all those fortunate enough to taste his delectable creations. His cooking skills were renowned far and wide and brought joy to countless individuals. In addition to his culinary expertise, Jeremy worked at Titan Truss and Ruff Kut Kustoms as a welder, where he took great pride in his craftsmanship.

  Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jeremy had a vibrant personality that left an enduring impact on everyone around him. His sharp wit and sense of humor could lighten the spirits of even the most somber souls. His infectious laughter filled rooms with joy and brought smiles to the faces of many.

  Sadly, Jeremy lost his battle with cancer at the age of 47. Despite facing this difficult challenge with bravery and resilience, he ultimately succumbed to its effects. His passing has left a void in the lives of his family members and friends that will never be filled.

  Jeremy is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Loretta Johnsen; his daughters Alexis Johnsen and Alyssa Williams who he was a proud father of; father Lloyd Johnsen and mother Krista Herden; caring brother Daniel Johnsen; cherished mother-in-law Louise Cressy and father-in-law Michael Cressy; supportive brothers-in-law Stormy Cressy, Larry Cressy, and Mark Cressy; and niece Makaila Cressy. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who became his extended family.

  During this difficult time, family and friends will gather to celebrate the remarkable life of Jeremy "Bear" Johnsen at a "Celebration of Life" service. The service will be held on November 16, 2023, at Bustard and Jacoby Funeral Home located at 600 CY Avenue in Casper, Wyoming. The service will commence at 2:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM.

  Jeremy was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Jay Hoff, as well as his uncle Matt Hoff, aunt Susan Hoff, and nephew Alex Cressy. While their absence brings profound sorrow to those who loved them, they are now reunited with Jeremy in the eternal embrace of peace.

  Jeremy's impact on the lives he touched cannot be overstated. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love for family, and dedication to his craft. His memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in his journey.

  May Jeremy "Bear" Johnsen find eternal peace as his spirit soars amongst the heavens.
