Jennifer “Jenny” Rose Frankin was born on March 14, 1976, to Ronnie and Jean Franklin. Jenny passed away on June 9, 2024, of natural causes. She was raised in Casper, Wyoming and attended Poison Spider Elementary, Dean Morgan Junior High, and Roosevelt High School. On April 19, 1996, Jenny welcomed the joy of her life, Ashley Rose Ooka. Jenny was a devoted mom and a friend to all. She opened her home to anyone who needed help. She loved hard, and everyone she loved knew she loved them completely. Jenny was the type of person who made lifelong friendships, and she treasured her family and friends. She would give you the shirt off her back if she knew you needed help. Regardless of her numerous medical problems, she always had a positive attitude. We take comfort in knowing that she is finally free from the pain and struggles she endured. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Jenny is survived by her daughter Ashley and her partner of 22 years, Larry Miller. She is also survived by her mom, Jean Molyneux, her sister Paula Hatcher (John) and nieces Taylor and Peyton Hatcher. She was preceded in death by her dad, Ronnie Franklin, grandparents Loren and Betty Coleman, grandparents Mary and Jim Franklin, her “partner in crime”, Keith Coleman and numerous other beloved family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 15th between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm at the Old Mills City Hall, located at 704 4th Street, Mills, WY 82644. Jenny loved cheering on the Denver Broncos and going to any concert she could. Let’s all celebrate Jenny together by wearing Denver Broncos colors or concert T-shirts. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Meals on Wheels at 1760 E 12th St #4005, Casper, WY 82601.
