Jeffrey A. Hyde, 50, of Casper, Wyoming, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at his home. Jeff was born May 22, 1966, in Mason City, Iowa to Dale and Sheilah Hyde of Fertile. He was baptized at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Clear Lake. He graduated from Forest City High School in 1984. He enjoyed working outdoors. He had been employed on farms and ranches, in addition to recently working on a workover rig. He also owned and operated a fencing business. He was an enthusiastic vegetable gardener, well known in the Casper community for his Brandywine tomatoes and amazing sweetcorn. He also liked hunting and fishing. From an early age, he loved animals, including exotic chickens, dogs, and horses. In the past, he also found adventure in rodeo competition, riding broncos and bulls. Memorial services for Jeff will be held at 3:30PM on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Bustard's Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Adams officiating. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be directed to an animal shelter or the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter,Vanessa Hyde; mother,Sheilah Hyde; brother, Brian Pat Hyde; sisters Delia Hyde, Donna (Charles) Reed, June (Kevin) Lackore, and Jamie Hyde; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend,Dena Richardson. He is preceded in death by his father, Dale Hyde; sister, Debra Hyde; and brother, Michael Hyde.
