Jean Braunberger

August 6, 1935 — January 5, 2018

Jean Braunberger 82, beloved Mother left this world Friday, January 5, 2018, to be with her loving husband Irvin in Heaven. Jean was born in Jamestown, North Dakota on August 6, 1935, to Andy and Hilda Otto. She married Irvin Braunberger, the love of her life, at the home of Jake and Judy Braunberger on December 13th 1953. They were married for 59 years. In 1960 they moved to Casper, WY, where they raised three children. Family was everything to her; we were always camping, hunting, fishing and visiting Grandparents in North Dakota. Jean loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother more than anything. She was an amazing cook and would wrap aprons around her grand-children and have them help; flour was everywhere along with laughter, love and fun. She also loved to play piano, sing, paint, do crafts and collect antiques. She loved to play card games with her family and would pretend not to see her grandkids cheating - she actually encouraged them. She was always there for her Family and Friends. Jean was greeted in Heaven by her parents Andy and Hilda Otto, Sister, Patty Otto, Brother, James Otto and grandson Taylor Songe all of whom she loved and missed dearly! She is survived by her children Debbie Songe, Tammy (Randy) Patricelli, Michael (Juli) Braunberger, all of Casper. Four Grandchildren: Christopher (Kristin), Colby (Ashlee), Clay (Ivana) and Jesse (Amber). Eight great-grandchildren: Taylor, Wyatt, Coulter, Josiah, Kip, Alex, Tiare, and Orion. Her sisters: Carol Gums of Casper and Beverly Bergson of Jamestown, North Dakota. Jean touched many lives during her life; she was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Mom you truly were a hoot we couldn't have asked for a greater Mom, we all love you! A celebration of Jeans life will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 11am at Bustard's Funeral Home. Reception to follow at the Elks Lodge, 108 East 7th Street, Casper, WY 8201. .
