Janice deMoor

A memorial service for Janice deMoor, 75, will be held at a later date at Hill Top Cemetery in Thermopolis. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bustards Funeral Home. Janice passed on February 12, 2012 at Central Wyoming Hospice Kloeskorn. Janice was born to John and Beulah (Grant) Hovey on July 12, 1936 in a car between Hamiliton Dome and Thermopolis giving her the nickname "Sage Brush Sue." She graduated from Hot Springs County High School and attended Casper College. Janice was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Leonard deMoor, siblings Joyce Haynes and Larry Hovey. Survivors include her sister Carolann Menter and husband Willard of Douglas, daughter Linda Staker and husband Kim of Casper, daughter in-law Karen Mannina of Casper, son Ronald Beck of Billings MT, grandchildren Joe Spears and wife Monique of Aspen, CO, Jennifer Gibbins and husband Derik of Casper, Sheena Staker of Casper, Zachery and Ryan Beck of Billings MT. great grandchildren Kordell Jelsma of Casper, Jasper and Avea Spears of Aspen, CO. Janice enjoyed reading, painting and working on her computer, and spending time with her family. Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to all who loved her, and will be missed greatly. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Janice's name to the Central Wyoming Hospice.
