Janet R. Caperton

Janet Ruth Caperton, age 72, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on January 11, 2024. She was born on October 13, 1951, in Ft. Worth, Texas. Janet was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Janet was known for her bubbly and outgoing personality. She never met a stranger and had a soft heart for children and animals. She loved unconditionally and had a funny and commanding presence. Janet was transparent and honest to her core, always speaking her mind.

In her career, Janet worked as a Nurses Aid at Casper Memorial Hospital before becoming a nanny to Josh and Tyler Price. She remained a part of their lives and family throughout their adulthood.

In her free time, Janet enjoyed watching hockey and football. She was a dedicated fan of the Denver Avalanche and Bronco teams.

Janet is survived by her brother Steve Caperton and wife Deborah of Valley Mills, TX; nephew Cory Caperton and wife Brooke of Argyle, TX, nephew Spencer Caperton and wife Emily of Valley Mills, TX; niece Kaley Higdon and husband Taylor of Valley Mills, TX; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Britt Caperton, and mother, Ruth Tilley Caperton.

A memorial service to celebrate Janet's life will be held at Bustard & Jacoby at 11:00 a.m. on February 10, 2024. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Jason's Friends Foundation at 340 W. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bustard & Jacoby, located at 600 CY Ave, Casper, WY 82601.

Janet will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, humor, and loving nature will be cherished forever.
