Janet Adels

Janet Adels, 69, died at Life Care Center in Casper, Wyoming on September 25th 2018 after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Disease. Janet was born on July 3, 1949 in Columbus, Nebraska. She married Dennis Adels August 3rd, 1968. Jan and Dennis lived in Kimball until 1992 when Dennis and Janet moved the family to Casper, Wyoming. She lived in Casper until her passing. Janet retired from the City of Casper in 2014 after 21 years of employment. During her tenure at the City she worked in the Planning and Community Development Departments. Janet was respected and admired by all those she interacted with on the job. Janet was a member of and enjoyed worship at Saint Patrick's Church. Her six grandchildren brought her great love & joy. She could often be found cheering them on during their various activities. Janet was a very giving friend. Her nurturing nature was often put to use when a friend or neighbor found themselves in need. Janet is survived by her husband Dennis, son Mark, daughter Tami, son Brad (Heather). Grandchildren Daultyn, Bradyn, Zachary, Danica, Brooks and Harper all of Casper, Wyoming. Her mother Evelyn Morgan of Kimball, Nebraska, sisters Lois (Larry) Poessnecker of Atkinson, Nebraska, Jean Barrett of Kimball, Nebraska, twin sister Joyce (Leonard) Reed of Sheridan, Wyoming, brother Craig (Beth) Morgan of Littleton, Colorado, Diane (Denny) Christophersen of Brady, Nebraska and numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her father Merle Morgan, Father and mother in law Bill and Dorene Adels, brother-in-law Bob Barrett and sister-in-law Kazan Schmidt. Janet's caring hugs will be missed along with her warm heart. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Janet's name to a memorial or charity of your choice. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at Saint Patrick's Church 400 Country Club Road, Casper, Wyoming. Family and friends are welcome to attend a reception at the church immediately following the services.
