James Wright

James Wright passed away on December l0, 2015 in Casper, Wyoming. Jim was born on February 24, 1969 in Deadwood, South Dakota to Dorothy and Robert Wright. He attended public schools in Lyman, Wyoming and Kemmerer,Wyoming, graduating from Kemmerer High School in 1987. Jim loved the outdoors and was an enthusiastic fisherman and arrowhead hunter. He earned two bachelor's degrees from Casper College and the University of Wyoming in Business and Psychology. At the time of his death, he was working on the final draft of his thesis for a Masters in Social Health from the University of Wyoming. James is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Katherine Ball, and fraternal grandfather, John R. Wright. Surviving Jim is his longtime friend Leslie Keeler of Casper; parents, Dorothy and Robert Wright of Kemmerer, Wyoming; grandmother, Inez Wright of Brigham City, Utah; brother, John D. Wright (Ronda) of Brigham City, Utah; and nieces, Sascha Wilks (Ryan) of Brigham City, Utah and Tereca Grim of Pearland, Texas. Jim's remains were cremated under the direction of Bustard's Funeral Home in Casper. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
