James Anthony Witten Jr died peacefully in central Wyoming hospice on 3-21-17 in Casper Wy at the age of 73. Jim is survived by his Wife Anita Casper, WY. Sisters Linda Evans Wauconda, IL, Janet Sherrel Pate Willis TX., Sharon Martin Flores Antioch IL. Daughters Susan (Scott) Johnson Florence WI, Brenda (Loren) Bond Coasta Rica and Son Steven Witten Junction City OR. Numerous nieces and nephews Jim is preceded in death by Mother Myrtle Oulds Barlow WI., Father James A Witten SR MD., Sister Dianne Larsen Sheridan WY.., Brother Bill Witten Big Horn WY., Half brother Charlie Barlow Waupaca WI. Son James Anthony Witten III Deerfield, IL. Jim was born on Sept 20 1942 in Waukegan IL. At the St. Theresse Hospital Jim worked for various road construction companies 1962-66 Christianson & Harris 1966-69 Brazel & Sims. 1969-79 Gilpatrick Const., Big Horn Coa1.1979-82 self-employed hauling oil field Eq.1982-90 Rissler & McMurry 1990-94 Menter Sand & Gravel, 1994-2007 E. H. Oftedal & Sons. Jim retired Jan 2007 so gave him more time to hunt and fish got his biggest deer (seemore) in 2008 May 2009 we loaded up the moterhome and spent 2 week in OR. with the kids, in Sept 2013 Jim and his nephew David did a charter fishing trip on flathead Lake Mt. one thing Jim loved was getting together with our special friends on the summer holidays fishing and he loved family gatherings and good food. No services are going to be held at this time, a family gathering will be planned at a later date.
