James Radtke

A memorial service for James C. Radtke, 83, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013, at Mount Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor John Hill and Pastor Ron Garwood officiating. James died on December 3, 2013, at Wyoming Medical Center. He was born September 21, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Edward and Marie Radtke. On February 6, 1954, he married Deloris Loeher and they lived in Wisconsin until March, 1980, when his employer, Harnischfeger Corp. (now Joy Global) transferred him to Casper, WY to be Manager of the Repair Division. He retired in June, 1994, after 44 years of service. James enlisted in the Army on January 5, 1950, and served in Korea until March, 1953. James was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of 59 years; 4 sisters, Esther and Leo Bonzelet, Rose Marie Staats, Nancy and Daniel Schwartz, and Eileen Dahl; and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Hope Lutheran Church. Cremation has taken place and his cremains will be buried in Arizona.
