James “Jim” Duel Price, 59, of Douglas, Wyoming, passed away on September 19, 2024, in Casper Wyoming, surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 3, 1965 to Duel and Anita Price, in Riverton WY.
Jim was known for his deep love of family and friends, as well as a passion for sports, and the outdoors. Jim Graduated from Riverton High School in 1983, he then attended Montana Tech in Butte MT, where he played football, his football career ended due to an accident where he broke his back. Jim was also an avid wrestler and represented Wyoming in Holland in wrestling Grecko Roman. He also enjoyed playing baseball and watching NASCAR.
Jim earned his MBA from the University of Wyoming. Thereafter, he dedicated many years to working in various capacities within the oilfield sector.
Jim treasured the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping riding motor bikes and horses. He loved taking his dogs hunting and riding up above Dubois to the lakes. If it was outside, you would catch Jim enjoying it with family and friends.
Jim played pool and played in pool leagues. He liked teaching his nephews pool tricks.
Jim is survived by his son, Jacob D. Price, sisters, Julie Price Carroll (Bradi) and Jane (Charles) Bisbee, Nieces and Nephews, Melanie Price, Torrey Price, James Fresorger, Mike Price, Gavin Carroll and Brooke Carroll.
Jim is proceeded in death by his Parents Duel and Anita (Seeley) Price, both of Riverton, Wyoming half- brothers Bob & Dave Price.
Friends and family are invited to gather to honor Jim’s memory October 3, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Riverton, WY at 11:00 am.
