James "Jim" Michael Hoskins of Casper died unexpectedly on July 23, 2011. James was born August 11, 1956, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. His parents, John Lee (deceased) and Joyce Hoskins raised four children. He is survived by his sisters, Cindy Coulter and Debra Thorson. He is predeceased by his sister Vicky (Walter) Hawn. On August 15, 1992, James Michael and Hilah Elizabeth Sutton were married on Cottonwood Beach at Alcova Lake. Cottonwood has always remained a favorite camping and fishing spot for the family. Jim and Hilah, along with Patrick Sutton and Connie Hoskins, raised their blended family: Shiloh (Rob) Esterline, Justin (Jailey) Hoskins, Christine Hoskins, Tabithah Sutton, and Savannah (Mike) Schadegg. "Papa" loved and adored his 9 grandchildren: Mariah, Xavier, Asyiah, Carter, Genesis, Zohee, Jordan, Mateah, and Jackson. James took tremendous pride in being a member of Ironworker Local Union 27. He is also survived by many fellow ironworkers and many other lifelong friends who, as did he, labor hard for small reward to make America a better place for all of us. He had a great love for adventure and family outings. Fishing, camping and boating wove the family together in joyful, everlasting unity. At Jim's request there will be no service. However, he welcomed the idea of gathering in his memory. Jim's family will announce the time and place for a BBQ in celebration of his life at a later date.
