James Heath

James "Jim" Edwin Heath, born February 22, 1936 in Nelson, Wisconsin, died December 13, 2018 in Casper, Wyoming. James enlisted in the Army in 1954 and, while stationed in Germany, met the love of his life, Marlene Spielmann. They were married on January 10, 1958 in Hanau, Germany. Jim worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a proud member of the VFW and loved spending time with his family, sharing his warped sense of humor with his children, and having coffee and spirited conversations with his friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Ruth Heath; son, Ben Heath; and brothers, Lawrence, Alfred, and Richard Heath. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; daughters, Dianna Baudrau; Ramona (Donn) Kuhn; sons, Larry and David (Christine) Heath, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Bustard's Funeral Home. A reception will follow. A private interment will take place at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. The family appreciates donations to the Glenrock Senior Center or as Jim says, "Just send cash."
