Jacqueline (Jacque) M. Booth passed away peacefully on February 5, 2019. Jacque was born May 29, 1931 in Thermopolis, WY to Tom and Nellie Buchanan. She graduated from Thermopolis High School and attended the University of Wyoming, where she met her future husband, Elvin Booth. They married in Thermopolis and moved to his family ranch near Lander, WY where they built their home. Jacque and Elvin had 4 children; Patrice, Judy, Rance and Kristine. The family moved to Casper, WY in 1968. The couple enjoyed traveling the world together, but was always anxious to return to family and Wyoming. Jacque was an avid painter, baker, seamstress, and gardener. She and Elvin enjoyed many summers in Pinedale where they had a second home which bordered the Bridger-Teton National Forest. She also loved the family get-away, the cabin on the North Fork of the Popo Agie River near Lander. She was always ready to go to the "Canyon" at a moment's notice. Jacque is survived by her four children; Patrice Lichliter (Bill, deceased) Judy Booth, Rance Booth (Bert), and Kristine Thompson (Lloyd) and her seven grandchildren; Joshua Lichliter (Lisa), Crystal Howell (Marcus), Tye Booth, Sydney Ellbogen, Audrey Whited (Calvin), Michelle Booth, and Corey Ellbogen. She is also survived by five great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband Elvin, her parents and her four siblings Jean, Jim, Pat, and Richie. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 3pm at Highland Park Community Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions.
